Senior Full-Stack Developer

I'm a deep-stack developer with a decade of experience. The kind where you start out writing C++ Linux drivers for 5G radios at Nokia, move on to building secure, national-scale systems for the medical and security sectors, and ended up building smart office UIs that run on kiosk screens around the world.

Most of this has happened from my underground basement office. It's the perfect spot for deep focus, but I'm definitely not a hermit. I genuinely enjoy working with people and thrive in a good hybrid setup. I'm currently renovating the bigger room next door, so future plans involve something more like a basement office lounge.

My core is in frontend architecture (React, Next.js, TypeScript), but I've always cared more about the whole system than just what runs in the browser. That includes shaping the product with design and stakeholders before a line of code is written. In my current role, I architected and delivered the UI for two hardware-integrated enterprise PWAs to production in a year. When not doing that, I build and maintain a real-time, data-intensive IoT dashboard managing thousands of devices.

These days I'm deep into developer experience and agentic AI, building multi-agent dev workflows and incorporating tools like Claude and Gemini into everything I do. Mostly because they are genuinely better at catching my mistakes than I am at making them.

I do my best work in teams where people actually give a damn and don't need managing. Whether that's fully remote or hybrid where we actually get together to solve problems, I feel the best code always comes out of teams like that.

When the laptop closes: wife, three daughters, tabletop games, slaying in PoE 2, and running a suspiciously large Farming Simulator operation. 🚜⚔️
